Capture the essence of a classic character from books that originated in the 1950’s while appealing to today’s child as well as mothers who read the books when they were young.
STRATEGY
Create merchandise fitting for the fictitious Eloise who lived at the exclusive Plaza Hotel in New York City. Retail distribution: upstairs and specialty retailers including Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, bloomingdales, FAO Schwarz, Barnes and Noble and the Plaza Hotel gift shop.
INNOVATIONS
Monopoly Junior board game, jewelry boxes, porcelain tea sets, hand painted furniture, porcelain dolls from Madame Alexander, pink hot chocolate and a $20,000 limited edition doll house replicating the Plaza Hotel.
